Stocking Stuffer Ideas

We hope you’re feeling the holiday cheer here at The Grand Estates in the Forest in Conroe, TX. Add a few thoughtful gifts to your loved ones’ stockings this holiday season or give yourself a good idea for finding something to give at a holiday gift exchange party with the tips from today’s blog.

Keep it Practical

If you want to give practical gifts but they’re a bit less flashy than those special gifts you’re excited to see get unwrapped, put these smaller ones in the stocking. This can include anything from new underwear and socks to notepads, school supplies, reusable water bottles, or smaller accessories that may be difficult to wrap. We even like this spectacles contact lens case or this bicycle keychain keyring bottle opener.

Put the “Fun” in “Functional”

Of course, your stocking can be fun, too! If you have an array of smaller gifts you don’t necessarily want to wrap (especially if they are in odd shapes or if they’re made of squishy material), put them in the stocking. Playing cards, fidget spinners (we love this orbiter magnetic fidget toy), makeup, an avocado slicer, or even a color changing unicorn mood light are sure to bring smiles to your recipients’ faces.

Make it a Treat

Everyone likes to treat themselves every once in a while. Give them the chance to do that with a gift card to a restaurant or business your recipient loves, by filling a stocking with their favorite novelty snacks, by making your own snacks to put a little love and effort into it, or by giving them items to pamper themselves with. This spa in a jar DIY works well, as does this pamper yourself gift jar. Get creative and they’ll love the result.

Of course, you could include a variety of gifts in your stockings by filling your stocking up with a mix of gifts from any of these categories.

What are your favorite ways to fill up stockings or find a gift for a white elephant party? Share your ideas with the rest of the apartment community by leaving a comment. Good luck! We hope you have a great rest of the year.
